Happy Valentines Day

I wanted to call him Sully but my dad said NO because it means cold in Tamil or something so then we got home and my mum was like what about that name you said (She meant Darcy). So I started calling him Darcy and my mum approved but my damn dad said no because of that swimmer Nick Darcy. What even! Who is going to hear Darcy and think of the swimmer. So then he said what about the name of a character from a movie or a cartoon who is a dog and the first one I thought of was Scooby and he liked it but I think it’s too common even though I don’t know anyone with a dog called Scooby. So I am going to try and convince my dad to let me call the puppy Darcy.

I couldn’t get a very good picture because he kept moving around

I’m freaking out a little because I don’t know how good I’ll be with looking after him and how long will it take for him to like me. All that training I have to do so I feel a little stressed, I’m also thinking that maybe the timing is wrong and I wish we bought a puppy at the start of the holidays. Hopefully all this will pass soon

Echoes

I haven’t really written about how I’ve been spending my holidays so I thought I would cram everything into this post.

- Had a bbq with family friends at Lysterfield Park

- Saw the Josh Duhamel look alike from uni which was amazing

- Got really wet in the lake which was not cool because I didn’t have clothes to change into

- I went to the New Year festival in Springvale with Jenny and Susan, we just ate and walked around, that same night I had people over at my place for the Australian Open Finals.

- I made butter chicken for the first time that day and it actually turned out okay.

- I wasn’t as upset as I thought I would be when Djokovic won.

- People slept over and we watched Zombieland (gosh I love that movie) and Freaks and Geeks

- Next day we lazed around and watched more tv

- Went to Southland with Priyanka and went shopping

- Saw this dress and boots I really want but I didn’t have enough money to buy them

- Talked a lot and ate one of those spuds for the first time

- Lots of staying at home alone and watching a shitload of tv shows (Readers I recommend watching Misfits)

- Went to the New Year festival at Sandown Park with Diem and Priyanka

- Went on a ride after who knows how many years and felt really sick (I’m usually good with rides)

- Walked around and ate a lot

- Saw a cute Asian guy

- Random kid started hanging around with us and wouldn’t leave so we lied to him and said we had to go

- Found out this Asian girl who was in my year level at Wellington is now pregnant

- Started going to the gym

- I do Zumba classes at the gym (laugh all you want), it’s entertaining

- Had a Harper’s Island marathon at my place with Sharline and Yen

- Ended up watching 5 episodes

This makes me laugh, Jimmy looks so out of place and they all look too happy

- Watched the Ballad Of Mona Lisa video clip again and again and again

- Went to Jenny’s house

- Saw Thanh and Nug

- Watched the Spongebob Squarepants movie

- We made t-shirts while Thanh played the guitar for us

- They’re really cool and I want to make lots of t-shirts now

- Sharline, Susan Yen and Jenny came over

- We made pizzas and the non vego one was massive but very good

- Ended up finishing Harper’s Island ( we watched 8 episodes that day)

- I tried not to laugh too much at the others getting scared

- We made a mental list of things to take in case we’re stuck on an island with a murderer

- And decided that we would leave Susan behind

- Came up with an idea to make a horror/thriller movie so I can’t wait to make this

- Jenny and I recorded a message for RK’s birthday video with the help of Sharline

- This took us around an hour to do because we kept laughing at everything

I wonder what he's going to think when he watched this

- Finished Season 3 of Gilmore Girls and I’m upset because there won’t be any more of Dave Rygalski who I was completely in love with

- Watched Never Let Me Go and cried a lot

- Was supposed to go to Camberwell Market and have lunch with people but I couldn’t

- I’m hoping something exciting will happen today, if it does I will post about it soon
