Rendezvous

Went to the city yesterday with our family friends from New Zealand, my dad took the Uncle to look at work stuff so my job was to show the others (Aunty, S (14 year old girl) and A (22 year old guy)) around the city. We went to Fed Square then walked along Swanston while they looked at shops. Went to MC then back to Swanston then to the shops at Southern Cross. Spent quite a while there and I started feeling sick at this point because I hadn’t eaten anything and my feet hurt. After they finished shopping we headed to Crown and spent some time there then went back to Fed Square where they got picked up by my dad. After a little bit of waiting I met up with Jenny, Yen, Sharline and Sneha at Flinders then we made our way to Crown.

I got that feeling again walking through the city, it really is a beautiful place at night. We decided to have dinner at the buffet place even though there was a line for it. Ayanthi and Piyumi came a little later so after a bit of waiting we all got in. There wasn’t a very wide selection of food but it all looked good. I started eating but my body couldn’t handle it, my headache was getting worse and worse and I felt nauseous so I ended up eating fruit. It was good catching up with everyone even though we didn’t spend that much time together. After dinner we decided to walk back to Flinders and ah it was so nice. The fire explosions that happen in front of Crown were amazing; I’d never been so close before. Got to Flinders, said our good-byes to the others then Sharline, Sneha and I got a train home.

I missed the 8:30 bus in the morning to I decided to get the 8:40 to Cheltenham, it was 8:49 but the bus still hadn’t come so I decided to cross the road to get the 8:50 to Dandy. I was half way across when I saw the bus go past so I turned around to walk back when I saw a bus in the opposite direction go past too. At this point I wanted to scream but I stood then and saw that a bus was coming so got on then realised I had gotten on the wrong bus so after a few stops I got off again then finally got on the proper bus. Fucking frustrating morning but I got to Jam Factory and bought tickets to X-Men: First Class then waited for Yen to come.

We walked into the theatre while the trailers were on and the first thing I saw was who I thought was Tom Felton. It was a trailer for the new Planet of the Apes film and I wasn’t sure if that was actually him or not.

The film I’m going to talk about it the next post

Had more problems with public transport then met up with Jenny and Susan at mc where we went to Border’s. It was so sad; the whole place was pretty much empty. We sat with Susan while she waited for her friend then said good bye because we won’t see her until August. The rest of the time we just walked and got food and oh dear and incident with this attractive guy and Yen. Yen was being really obvious and we were all standing there giggling so I think they knew.

I’m sorry I think this whole post was badly written but I’m tired and I can’t really think right now

Stay tuned for the X-Men post

What do tigers dream of

I was waiting outside the exam hall waiting to go inside when this lady holding a basket approached my friends and I. She had a variety of small plastic toys in her basket and told us to take one as a lucky charm for the exam. I have no idea who that lady was or why she was giving out ‘lucky charms’ but it made me smile.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

(This was the one I got, it’s now missing a bit of the tail because Scooby ate it)

My exam, let’s not talk about that.

The bus got to Morwell station and I saw the train leave so it meant I had an hour to kill before the next one. I usually just sit at the station but this time I thought I would walk around and look at the shops. I went into an op shop for a little while then went to a newsagent/book shop where I spent most of my time. I picked up this Doctor Who magazine and opened the front page, as soon as I did this I heard the TARDIS sound and I got really excited. The magazine made a TARDIS sound every time you opened it so I kept opening it up.

Got home and didn’t do much, wanted to watch a movie in the theatre room but I got told off so that was my Monday.

Today, my day consisted of cleaning and watching The Hangover.

I’ve seen The Hangover once before, around the time it came out and I must say I didn’t find it that great when I watched it. Maybe it was all the hype around it, maybe it was because I watched it straight after watching se7en and it paled in comparison. I don’t know but I decided to give it another shot because of Bradley Cooper

Second time around, I really liked the movie. I still don’t think it’s the funniest movie ever or that it’s hilarious but it made me laugh and I like the story. There are so many funny quotes in this movie and yes I really like it. My one complaint (maybe I have more but my main one) is Ken Jeong’s character. I know some people thought he was really funny but I found him really annoying. Also Bradley Cooper is so attractive throughout the whole movie, even though his character is a bit of a dick. I don’t know why I never used to find him that great looking. Valentine’s Day was what made me start liking him. I know have a song from the movie stuck in my head and it’s annoying me because I only know the start and end of it.

I also started watching a movie called I Love You Beth Cooper but it was crap so I turned it off. Now to decide what movie I’m going to watch now.

Forget About It

When I heard about the lunar eclipse I got rather excited because I have this odd love for the moon and an eclipse is something I have always wanted to witness. I woke up at 4:30 and it had just started, it was too cold outside so I watched from inside the house. After almost an hour there it was, oh wasn’t it amazing. I was planning on watching it turn back to normal but my view was blocked by a house after some time so I went back to sleep.

On Sunday night I was flicking through the channels and saw that the Graham Norton Show was on so I thought ooh I’ll watch it. I loved the episode as it made me laugh and I feel like I hadn’t laughed properly in a long time until that night. I love British talk shows, they’re so much funnier than American ones and I can’t really compare them to Australian ones because the one good talk show we had is now gone.

I may have gotten slightly really addicted to them so I’ve been watching all these episodes of certain talk/quiz shows. Really bad timing isn’t it? Last exam on Monday and I’m nowhere near ready which is horrible because I had a week to prepare myself but it’s me and I leave everything to the last minute so chances are I will do quite poorly on this exam

I have also developed a crush on Bradley Cooper which is weird because I never used to find him attractive and then BAM he suddenly got really good looking.

Oh dear I think I’m going into fangirl mode

(Hasn’t it been a while since my current crush wasn’t a band person)

I’ve given myself two days of very intense studying because I’ve been procrastinating so much so I’ll see you on the other side

Figure It Out

I was on Twitter yesterday and I saw that one of the band guys I follow did a Q&A so I went on his page and was reading his answers and opening up the pages of the people who asked so I could see what the questions were. I then came across one person and I saw that she was followed on Twitter by this band guy and also another band guy so being the creeper I am, I decided to search her up on google. I went on a link to a livejournal page and people were discussing her so I decided to read, basically what I learnt about her is that she’s a band whore and how she lost custody of her kid and didn’t do anything to get her back because she keeps up this image of being a partier and something like that. I started browsing this livejournal called fueledbygossip, it had discussions about other band and things that happened on tours and groupies and band whores and I am so ashamed to say I spent quite some time reading all of this. Apparently there are certain girls who everyone knows for being a band whore; I thought things like this didn’t happen that much anymore. Also found out that people actually dress up nicely to get attention from band guys. I was reading this and thought how sad, people should be going to concerts for music, not to hook up with people. There were so many stories of supposed hook ups and incidents of people not being really rude and I’m pretty sure more than half of them were made up but I really wish I hadn’t read some of them.

There was one interesting one though, VersaEmerge told The Dangerous Summer to cut a few songs from their set list on a VE headlining tour so one of the guys said this on twitter

‘’If you have illegitimate children on the way dont take it out on me or my band. Thanks!!’’

This was about Devin’s (VersaEmerge) unborn child so naturally he got angry and he supposedly threw a beer bottle at him.

The Dangerous Summer guy tweeted again

‘’turns out he has illegitimate children on the way and that can be very stressful which caused him to throw a beer bottle.’’

The Dangerous Summer were then kicked off the tour.

I’ve got one exam left but it’s a week away so I’m eagerly waiting for holidays to start, I feel like I’ve been cooped up in the house for too long. I definitely need to be more active these holidays.

I was also thinking about having a meet up at my house like how we had the Cheesecake party last year. There are some people I haven’t seen in so long and it would be nice to catch up with everyone.

I was going through some photos and found a few of Scooby, found ones of him from the day after we bought him and oh god he was so tiny. I can’t believe how much he’s changed.

I’m kicking myself for not taking more photos of him.

I don't know why I'm writing this

Lately (meaning for the past few months I guess) I’ve been having a series of dreams every night. I mean I almost always have dreams but I’ve just been having so many. I generally have around 5 dreams that I can vaguely remember when I wake up.

Last night I had two dreams which I can’t remember now but I could when i woke up (I should keep a dream journal) then my third dream was me back in highschool. I was in the hall with all the friends and the whole school was there and there was some sort of show thing going on. People in groups were singing or dancing, a few people sang then a new group (all wearing white) went on stage. Nug was in this group, everyone else was Asian too and they started dancing to an Asian hip hop song.

After that was done one of the teachers announced that there was going to be a guest now then the rest of the performances will go on. This guest turned out to be Joel Kanitz, I started freaking out but no one else seemed to know who he was. He sang either Hopeful Romantic or To Love and Back and I was singing along and freaking out then I turned around and went “Oh My God Jenny!” and Jenny was freaking out too. The rest of my friends asked me if I knew who he was so I went YEAH THAT’S JOEL KANITZ but that didn’t do any good. The teacher then asked someone to come up on stage if they knew the words to the song so I walked up and she told me to start singing and Joel was watching me. I don’t know what happened but I started singing one of the Latino Zumba songs (my favourite one actually) (I don't actually know the words to the song because it's in Spanish) and all these people in the audience were singing along and people got up on stage and started dancing to it.

That’s about all I can remember of that dream, next I was in India and was about to take a shower so I was looking through my suitcase and thought damn why didn’t Ma pack any of my dresses. I was then talking to one of my Aunties about something.

Don’t know what happened next but we were all (Me, my mum, dad, aunty, a few cousins, my uncle, another aunty and my grandma) were in this store and this blonde haired lady was telling us to try the new chocolate so we were. Then my uncle brought over a glass of Firewhiskey, then the blonde lady came up to me and told me all up it would cost $1000. I was shocked because I thought we were trying free samples so I went over to my dad and told him. He told me not to worry; we went to the counter then ran out of the store without paying. We seemed to be in some sort of massive shopping centre then my dad told me to run faster because we were going to miss the movie so I asked him what about the popcorn.

That’s all

These are some of my more normal dreams

The ones I’ve been having lately haven’t been making me very happy so I wish they would stop sometimes.

I had this dream a couple of weeks ago where I was with two of my family friends who I haven’t seen in so long and they kept going “What happened to you?” .The whole dream was about how I’ve screwed up my life and how I’m not doing anything to improve it. My dad hated me in that dream and it was all pretty bad. It did however involve John O’Callaghan although I don’t quite remember how.

What I’m trying to say is I guess dreams can often be good and they are amusing a lot of the time but sometimes I wish I could sleep and wake up without remembering a single one of them.

Tell Me A Lie

Yesterday I went to this hall near my house because we were catering for a 21st birthday and I went to help out. Once we got there we started getting everything ready.
Spent a while prepping the food then the birthday girl and her family came so my dad went to take photos of her (this is the girl that had a 21st party on a boat, her family always has things going on and they always get my dad to do photos).
People started coming in so my dad told me he was going to go look after the food so I had to go take photos. I wasn’t too sure about it but I still went and took photos of people while they were coming in. Once people started sitting down I went around the tables taking photos of people and making awkward small talk with people I knew, I generally felt awkward walking around and taking photos.
I then saw this attractive guy so I wanted to follow him around all night taking photos (no I’m just kidding). I don’t think I actually took any of him because I would walk away whenever there was eye contact (I’m horrible).
(Edit: I just looked through the photos and there are a few of him)
Once the food was pretty much finished my dad took over taking photos and I went and sat with my family friends for a little while.
I think my internet is capped so there isn’t much I can do on the internet now. This really sucks because I desperately want to watch the new Doctor Who episode.
Exams are very soon so I should probably start studying,
Seriously cannot wait until the holidays.

Hold your head high, heavy heart

I’ve been feeling pretty lousy lately

I seem to have lost all motivation for uni and thinking about my future is just depressing

So when I woke up today and saw that there was an announcement from The Academy Is.. I got pretty excited because I thought it would be about their new album

I clicked on the link and their new demo started playing

Everything felt good until I read their post

The Butcher and Chizzy are leaving TAI

I wasn’t surprised.

I had a feeling something like this would happen soon.

I started crying as soon as I finished reading the post

I thought maybe this time I wouldn’t but I couldn’t help it

I don’t know I guess I don’t like change.

I thought maybe I would get to see them all one more time.

I know this probably seems silly to a lot of people but TAI mean so much to me

I wish I got to meet them

I’m going to miss them so much

Dear god I’m getting teary again

The Next Best Thing

Briefly telling you what I’ve been up to since my last post

During the break met up with Jenny, Sharline and Vivian and had a picnic with them

Got my This Century package

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Watched a lot of Torchwood and fell in love with Ianto Jones

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The Royal Wedding happened and I thought I wouldn’t care but my mum and I got really into it and oh it was so beautiful

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Doctor Who series 6 started and completely confused me (I have so many questions!)

Found out Panic! At The Disco are coming for Soundwave Revolution (YAAAAAAAAAY)

Helped out my dad and a few family friends/ relos with this catering thing they did

Uni started again and I’ve already been swamped with assignments

Masterchef started so something to watch on tv now (but it’s bad because it’s on 6 nights a week)

Watched more Torchwood and I am so addicted. I told myself I’m not going to watch season 3 until the holidays (let’s see how long I last)

Got followed by Hot Chelle Rae on twitter!

Saturday night I went to a 21st which was a dress up (I went as a vampire and looked like a tool) (I’ll post a photo when I get one off someone)

Had my nephew’s 16th / my cousin’s anniversary party after

My niece made me go up to these girls to show them my fangs which were part of my costume

“Why do you have them”

“It was part of a costume, I just went to a dress up party”

“Oh what are you supposed to be”

“uh... a vampire...”

“Right...”

(Was it not obvious with the vampire fangs I had)

Tonight I went to a Zumba class after ages and I was feeling all happy because it was Tuesday and that means Zumba with José who is my favourite instructor but as soon as I got in I saw that he wasn't there and Bianca who fills in when people are sick or can't make it was there. Went inside and she introduced herself and went José is no longer with us so I will be taking this class.

(NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO)

was what went through my head so I was sad the whole lesson

I want him back!

As you can tell I haven’t been up to much, I’ll probably blog more often now if I’m not too lazy, until next time

I typed this last week

Day 1

- We (My parents and I plus 2 other families) left to go to Bright

- We stopped over in Traralgon to have breakfast

- While driving my dad’s door flew open which was scary

- More driving

- “Look country girls” – my Ma (when she saw these two girls)(my parents are strange)

- Stopped in a place outside Bairnsdale for lunch

- Fell asleep and woke up to see beautiful scenery, there were all these green hills and oh it was so nice

- Went past a little cute looking town called Omeo

- I started listening to Black and White (it’s been a while since I’ve listened to the album fully) and looked out the window to see more beautiful scenery. There were heaps of trees with their colourful autumn leaves and there was also rainbow and at that moment everything felt nice. Black and White is such an amazing album; I really do need to buy it.

- Arrived in Dinner Plains (which is where we stayed). It was sort of odd looking, it was like an estate in the middle of nowhere and it had hotels and bars and the rest of it was houses. The area was quite big though.

- Each house was different looking and had a different name. Ours was called Woodson...not the coolest.

- It was three storeys high and pretty cool

- I found out they had wireless there so I got pretty happy

- We found some old tapes so A (21), R (17) and I watched Madeline and Where’s Wally.

- S who is a 9 year old boy started singing Bad Romance which was pretty funny

- Internet connection was gone so I didn’t know what to do

- Played uno with S and Sa (8 year old girl)

- Everyone started playing cards except me and my mum who went to sleep while I watched We The Kings Podcasts

Day 2

- Was listening to music when R asked me if I was listening to Michael Buble. “No...it’s Panic! At the Disco”

- Drove to Bright, the path was full of curves and took a little while but we finally got there

- Went for a little walk

- There was a market thing going on so we looked around

- Several people kept aww-ing at Scooby and went on about how cute he was, some people came up and touched him

- We left and went to this place called Mt Beauty

- Went in a maze

- Had lunch in a park which had a really nice view of these mountains but I couldn’t get a photo because of the sun

- Started heading back to Dinner Plains, it was getting dark at 5

- The sky around the mountains looked pink and ah it was so nice, once again couldn’t get a photo

- Around 6 it was completely dark and dear god the drive back was freaky

- When we were near Mt Hotham there was fog and you literally couldn’t see anything in front of you and the road was all winding so it was a scary drive back

- Once we were back everyone started playing cards and watching Miss Congeniality so I went on my laptop

Day 3

- Went to Mt Hotham and went on a chairlift that took us to the top of the mountain

- Walked back down

- We wanted to go back into Bright or go see Mt Buffalo but the kids started complaining and say they wanted to go back to Dinner Plains (gosh they can be annoying) so we went back

- I was kneeling down and fixing Scooby’s leash when my mum yelled out my name, I looked up and saw the car in front of me reversing. So bloody close to getting hit and the driver and no idea I was there.

- The kids wanted to go pony riding so we talked to the people but they said the ride would be on later

- They then wanted to go bike riding so the parents were talking to the bike people

- A was holding onto Scooby then this dog came out of nowhere and started attacking Scooby and everyone was yelling and I ran towards him. A picked him up but the dog jumped up and bit Scoob’s tail and Scooby screamed. I finally got to him and held on to him, thank god he wasn’t hurt, the other dog had grabbed onto his fur and not flesh. I don’t know what I would have done if he got hurt. The owner came and started apologising and told us her dog had never done that before

- We decided to go bush walking to see a waterfall so we started looking for the track which took a while. This led us to go to the back side of the place and the houses here were much prettier.

- We found the path and walking, it was all downhill and it was pretty fun. I was up front because everyone else were really slow, my mum fell over (I missed it) because it was really slippery and she wasn’t wearing the right shoes

- Got to the waterfall and it was a tiny little thing and I was the only one who went up close to see it because no one else wanted to cross the water.

- When I was coming back I ended up splitting my jeans around the thigh area (so not cool now I have to pairs of split pants, I really need to go shopping)

- The walk back was a killer

- It was all uphill so it was quite hard and it was really hot and I was wearing a long sleeved top which made things worse

All that to see this little thing

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

- Went back to the house while the kids went on their pony ride

- The rest of the night was very dull, one of the uncles was watching a movie so I couldn’t watch tv. Everyone were doing their own thing so once again I went on my laptop.

Day 4

- Left Dinner Plains and started heading home

This is the house we stayed in, you can’t really see it because of that tree

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

- We stopped for petrol and I got a Maxibon and it was wonderful

- I actually can’t remember the last time I had ice cream, it’s been a couple of months

- We stopped in Sale for lunch

- More driving then finally home

I must say out of my 13 years of living here, this was the dullest and most uneventful trip we’ve ever been on

Oh here are a couple of houses in Dinner Plains

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This one was my favourite

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

When I came home I watched the new episode of Doctor Who and it was asvgadfbsfbfnsfs

It messed with my head a bit so I hope some things will be answered in the next episode

Picking Up The Pieces

The past couple of days have been pretty shit for me. Scooby got sick Saturday night and basically all I’ve been doing is worrying and crying which is really bad because I have two assignments due Wednesday, one which is a 2500 word essay and I haven’t started either one. We took him to the vet but they were pretty much useless and we ended up spending a heap of money on it, all of yesterday he seemed all dull and wouldn’t move around much. This morning around 5 he started throwing up then he threw up again around 8 and this time all this stuff came out in his vomit, it was quite gross actually. I took a photo of it though to show my parents.(I was going to post the photo but I don’t think anyone wants to look at a photo of vomit so I didn’t) The rest of the day he spent sleeping but now he seems to be getting much better which is the biggest relief, he’s a lot more active now and he’s eating again so I feel better now.

Nothing much has been going on with me, I’ll have to spend the next day doing all my assignments then on Friday I’m going to Bright with my parents and some family friends. I don’t know why we’re going and why we’re going for so long, so badly do not want to go because I’m not close with the family friends we’re going with so it’ll be a few days of me being really bored and no internet! Plus I really don’t want to leave Scoob behind and if my plan doesn’t work then I don’t have anywhere to leave him so I don’t know what’s going to happen.

Music Monday

2:50 Joel's orgasm face

I’ve been watching this video too much but ah they all look so nice and I had no idea Joel had his ears gauged before I saw this.

I love this song and I really can’t wait till the album comes out which is tomorrow but then my copy of the album won’t come for another couple of weeks so that sucks but still I’m excited!

(I don't know why the writing is so big I can't seem to make it smaller)
