She's Killing Me

Okay I don't know what the fuck is up with the font later in this post, I can't seem to change it

Vivian, Thanh, Jenny and Nug came over for New Year’s Eve.
We had dinner and watched tv, the 30 biggest hits of the year were on so we sat there bagging all the music videos. At midnight we all took a jello shot each which was more of a blob of jelly which wasn’t quite set. Jenny started yelling out that it was burning her throat and all she had was a tiny bit. I thought it was gross because it just tasted like medicine. Nug and I mixed ours with ice cream but it still tasted gross (way too much vodka).
We then watched few things on youtube and took photos then Thanh had to leave.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
this made us laugh because we had the self timer on and it was about to go off so jenny just sat where she was

The rest of us changed into our pajamas and put on The Green Lantern. After the movie, Nug and I watched the deleted scenes from X-Men: First Class then fell asleep.

The next morning everyone left and there was this movie on tv; Cheetah Girls: One World. It was one of those Disney tv movies and this one was set in India so it was funny to me (I didn’t watch it properly but it was still funny).
My relos came over later that day and I played stuff with my niece then my dad said something about watching Captain America so I wouldn’t let the subject drop and made everyone (well almost) watch Captain America on Blu Ray in the theatre room (hottest room in the house) on a 40 degree day. It was bloody hot in there, the fan wasn’t really helping, the mango lassi did a bit (now I want mango lassi) but we still watched it and oh gosh blu ray is so pretty. I want to get more movies on bly ray.

After they left my mum told me to put on a movie for her, see my cousin told her about this website where you can stream Indian movies so she made me stream it from my laptop so she could watch it on the tv upstairs with my dad. I decided to go downstairs and read but I thought I would check what was on the tv first. Nothing really interested me until I got to sbs and there was a German movie on called Mädchen, Mädchen (Girls On Top). It was near the middle when I started watching it but I kept getting interrupted by my parents because they kept having problems with the laptop and such so every 5 minutes I would be called upstairs to see what was wrong, this meant that I missed a lot of the film so I didn’t really know what was going on. It was basically a chick flick about a group of school girls trying to get their first orgasm (don’t judge me for watching, it was funny/interesting). The movie ended and I never got to see the ending but right after they played Mädchen, Mädchen 2 so I decided to watch this. This movie had two of the same girls from the first part of the movie and was set a few years after the first. It was about three girls trying to find and apartment to live in and all this stuff happens and I was really interested. It wasn’t a great movie or anything but it was entertaining plus one of the guys was pretty cute; he reminded me of Mitch Hewer in Skins.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
This is him in another movie, his name is Max Riemelt
I googled him and he doesn’t look as cute as he did in the movie. Maybe I just liked his character

My parents called me upstairs again and this time it took ages so I missed a chunk of the movie and I hate it when that happens so I didn’t finish it but I now regret it because I might not find an online version that has English subtitles.

On Wednesday, I went to Top Shop with Yen. As soon as we went in, I saw a guy from my uni there but I don’t think he recognised me. The shop is pretty good, I didn’t end up getting anything but Yen did. We then went to Melbourne Central then decided to have lunch. Yen said she would take me to this Japanese place on Bourke so we went over but it was closed so we then went to the comic book shop and looked around. Gosh I love that place, it’s so cool! I saw some issues of Civil War and got excited but they were a bit pricey, I didn’t realise how expensive comics could be. There goes any chance of me buying the issues of The Avengers vs X-Men when it comes out. There was an Asian place open next to where the Japanese place was so we went in and sat down and got our menus but there wasn’t really anything we wanted so we left and Yen felt really bad. We had lunch at Gigi on Swanston and it was decent but it took them forever to bring out the food. Went back to MC and sat and talked for a bit then I headed home.

While I was having dinner that night, Sharline came over. We took Scooby for a walk and ended up staying out for around an hour but it was a nice walk. We then went back to my place and talked for a while then watched X-Men: First Class, unfortunately not Blu Ray because as I said in my previous post, the disk doesn’t work and I don’t know how to update it so I’ll have to wait till I get another player. Sharline liked the movie which made me happy, we then watched the deleted scenes and a couple of the behind the scenes videos and ended up sleeping around 6.

We woke up around 12 and Sharline had to go because she had work. I spent the rest of the day cleaning.

Oh I watched episode 1 Season 2 of Sherlock and I have mixed feelings about it but mostly good. It was exciting getting to see it after such a long break.

Scooby got a haircut so all his fur is gone and he looks all skinny again, we told the lady to not make it too short but it is really short and once again looks like a different dog, oh well at least it’ll be nice for him during the warm days.

Identify

The stupidest thing happened last week.
Both my parents were outside doing gardening or something and I went outside to take out the trash. We were all at the front of the house when the gate slammed shut behind us (You can’t open it from the outside and no one had house keys).
I tried to see if I could climb over but no so I kept asking my dad what we were going to do but him and my mum were bickering about something and it was so frustrating because we were all stuck outside (including scooby).
After ages my dad came back with a ladder which he got from some random house and we could finally go back inside the house.

Last Saturday we left to go on a little trip which we usually do around Christmas time because my parents have holidays. We went with one other family and I wasn’t looking forward to it because I would have no one to talk to (the kid is 9).
We stopped near Bairnsdale to have lunch in this little park. There was a man dressed as Santa going around on a motor bike giving out candy to people.
Arrived in Metung around 3 and found the place we were going to stay in. It was pretty small and had two bedrooms but at least it was clean.
After settling in we walked to the town and looked around (it’s the tiniest place)

I had a dream that night where I was walking somewhere with my parents and I saw You Me At Six so I got really excited and told my dad to take a photo of me with the guys but he got really angry and told me not to listen to them and that I couldn't talk to them and stuff so I got angry. We then left and went to a party and the YMAS guys were there (I don't know why) so I went over and talked to Dan for ages (yes I may have a slight crush on him now). Damn I can't remember what else happened, I don't even know why I shared this dream with you but it was a nice dream.

On Christmas Day we drove up to Buchan Caves to see if it was open but it wasn’t so we went to Lakes Entrance. We went to the beach and walked around then got fish and chips and headed back to Metung and went on a walk to this beach-y area which was a spot for boats to be docked and it was so pretty.

Next Day went to Lakes Entrance and everyone did a bit of shopping while I stayed in the car with Scooby. We then went back to Buchan Caves and I stayed in the car while everyone else went to the caves because of Scooby. Back to Lakes Entrance and got Flat head tails which were so good! Then back to Metung.

Overall this trip was extremely dull and I didn’t like it. The kid annoyed the hell out of me the entire time, I got no sleep because there were three (well 4 including Scooby) of us on the one bed. I woke up at one point in the night and saw that Scooby had more room on the bed than me. I’m so glad I took my laptop with me because I spent most of my time watching stuff when we were in the house.
We came back on Tuesday and had a barbeque at the park near my house.

--

Thanh came over on Wednesday because we were going to have Tim Burton marathon. We only ended up watching two movies but it was still good. We sat on the floor and talked for a while after then she left. It was nice seeing her after ages.
Wow I can’t remember what I did after

--

Jenny came over today, we watched a movie then walked to Parkmore to see Sharline at work.
We didn’t have a chance to talk to her because she was out the back so we walked around a bit then came back.
After a while we finally got to talk to Sharline and she showed us her new rabbit (she’s so cute!). We got to feed the rabbits and guinea pigs and touch the dogs. She told us to come back later so she could take a break so we went to Nandos and got chips. While we were eating, I got a call from my dad and he told me that Scooby ran outside the house and got hit by a bicycle so I got worried but he said he was fine just a little scarred.

After we ate we went to see if Nug was working.
She was, we said hi and I recognised one of Jenny’s friends from her party (he was also working there). He knew my name so I felt really bad when I couldn’t remember his but I didn’t tell him that. We talked to Nug for a bit then went back to see if Sharline could take her break. We couldn’t see her which meant she was at the back (there was a sick cat so they were looking after it). After waiting we left and got ice cream from Maccas then waited more but then decided to leave because she never came out. We went back to Nug and talked to her, she told me she watched all of The Avengers so I got really happy because people never watch things I tell them to watch and now I have someone to fangirl with.
After checking for Sharline again we decided to leave. Jenny went to the station while I went home.

When I got home I saw a jb hi fi bag and got really excited (my family friends said they would get me some movies). X-Men: First Class and Captain America on Blu Ray! Yaaaaaaay
I don’t really know why they did, my dad said it’s because I look after their kid in the holidays. They asked me if I wanted any others but I already felt bad so I only gave them two names.
If you’ve read my other posts then you know how much I wanted them (especially XMFC)
After a while I put it on and decided to look at the special features but then my dad came in so i told him to watch the movie with me. I put it on but it didn’t seem to work so I tried and tried and tried some more but every time I did, the movie wouldn’t play so I got really upset. I tried Captain America and that was fine, I also tried the normal DVD of XMFC (it came with Blu Ray and DVD) and that worked but the Blu Ray didn’t so my dad said he would go return it tomorrow and get another copy. I really hope it works ugh I was so excited and everything.

I also got Pioneer today; the CD came with a mask and a signed letter from the band

That’s pretty much all I’ve been doing.

There was a flash mob in Auckland where people danced to this Tamil song called 'Why This Kolaveri Di' (which is this new song that's become super popular for some reason and it was in the mX the other day for getting heaps of youtube hits) and my cousin was in the flash mob so you can see her dancing in their official video

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I finally finished reading Civil War and ugh gosh it’s so sad and good at the same time. I’ve got another series to read now called The House Of M.

I started Community and now I’m up to date and it’s a really good show, can’t believe they’re thinking about cancelling it.

I watched The Doctor Who Christmas special and it was good but I was expecting a little more. The ending was really good though.

The Downton Abbey Christmas special was brilliant! I loved it but hated that they didn’t have my favourite characters in it.

Bite My Tongue

Last Friday Sharline came over to play Nancy Drew. We played The Crystal Skull and it took us around 6 hours to get through the whole game. I’ve never finished one in one day before, it was pretty intense. The game was awesome! It was really hard and there were a lot of creepy things in it so it was funny seeing Sharline’s reactions at certain things. My parents catered that night and went to bed without cleaning because they had work in the morning so I had to clean the house. Oh gosh the kitchen was crazy, it was so messy, took me around 2 hours to clean.

Saturday was the American TV Character themed party. I finally decided to dress up as Garcia and the outfit came out pretty well. Nayomi dressed up as someone from Grey’s Anatomy and it was funny because everyone thought she was from Scrubs. Vivian was Rachel from Glee, Sharline was Eliza Thornberry, Piyumi was Serena from Gossip Girl while Sneha was Blair from Gossip Girl. Ayanthi didn’t dress up because she didn’t have enough time. We just ate and talked and it was good, what sucked though was that we didn’t take a single photo even though I asked. At the end of the night I decided to get one of myself so it’s all I have, my lipstick is gone and my hair looked different at the start of the night.
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Shame we didn’t have photos. Nayomi and Sharline slept over, Nayomi fell asleep so Sharline and I watched Mean Girls 2 and basically laughed at everything in the movie. Nayomi woke up around 8 in the morning so we watched The Blinde Side which was good. I fell asleep for about 10 minutes during the movie so that’s the only bit of sleep I got. They both left after and the rest of the day I was left feeling really tired and kept falling asleep at random times.

Sharline and I talked about Fight Club the other night so I told her she had to watch it; she came over on Monday to watch it. After Fight club we watched Captain America then walked to her house and I walked back with Scooby. It was a really good day, it’s always nice having a relaxing day with a friend.

Tuesday I had volunteering and someone donated a massive bundle of knitting needles so I had to go through them and pair them up, lordy that took a while. I watched Love Actually that night, I didn;t watch all of it because I took Scooby for a walk in the middle of it but yes. I totally forgot Martin Freeman was in it. He’s so cute! I want to hug him. Speaking of Martin Freeman, Sherlock series 2 comes out January 2nd #yaaaaaaaaay

I watched Season 3 finale of Misfits and ugh god it was so sad and then I saw this message from Iwan Rheon
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
and it made me even more sad!
Simon is my favourite character on Misfits so I don’t know what it’ll be like without him

I forgot to write about this when I first found out about it but check this out

Yes, The Avengers vs X-Men story arc
How exciting!?
I can’t wait! So many good things coming out next year.

The Battle Of One

On Tuesday, I started volunteering at an op shop. I basically just helped with sorting out stuff, making things neater and putting price tags on items. The owner lady is really nice and she talks a LOT so I don’t have to do a lot of talking.
This guy came in to donate stuff and after he left the lady went “ooh wasn’t he cute? But if I went after him, I would be called a cougar.” I just laughed.

--

On Wednesday, Viv, Sharline, Jenny. Yen and Nug came over and it was so good to see them. Can’t believe it was the first time seeing them all holidays. We just talked and ate and looked at things on the internet.
We tried taking a polaroid but Yen was always cut out of it so we tried all these things then realised there was no more film left.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Oh yes I also got birthday presents from Yen and Jenny

The picture also has the presents I got from Sumo

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

How cool!?

There’s two t-shirts (a Cheshire cat one and a The Maine one that Jenny made), a pioneer bracelet (also made by Jenny), The Hunger Games trilogy, a two in one, Eagle Eye and Disturbia DVD and two Batman tin pails.

--

On Friday I went to Chadstone with Diem. We went to Hoyts to pick out a movie but there weren’t a lot of good movies to pick from. Diem wanted to watch something funny and I wanted to watch Drive, after a while I finally convinced her to watch Drive and we bought tickets before she changed her mind. The movie wasn’t going to start till later sow e walked around and had lunch. I don’t know if it’s just me but the clothes in the shops now are terrible! I seriously could not find a single decent item of clothing, well except for a couple of dresses at Dangerfield but they were all too expensive.
We went to the book store that’s replaces Borders and it’s basically just books that not a lot of people are going to buy. Diem was looking at this romance book so I kept yelling out that she was reading porn and I got a few looks from people who were around us.
After the movie we walked around a bit more then went home.
Oh one thing. At Hoyts there were so many posters for Hindi movies, it was weird. There was a massive cut out of Shahrukh Khan

--

On Sunday we went to an Indian restaurant with our family friends and oh gosh the butter chicken there was SO GOOD.

After we ate we all went to IKEA in Springvale because we hadn’t been. It is marvellous, I wanted to stay there longer, I love the place. We always end up buying random stuff when we go to IKEA, we did the same this time.
like these

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

We don’t need them but they’re cute and colourful

We then went to Harvey Norman. You know how they always have a wall full of TVs and they have a movie playing on them, well the movie that was playing was X-Men: First Class so I got all excited. Another TV had Thor playing so more excitement. Family friends were buying a TV so they were talking to a person who worked there, I got a little bored so I walked around and tried the 3D TVs. I also kept bugging my dad about getting me X-Men: First Class on bluray so he said he would but when we left JB HI FI was closed.

--

Random note, Scarlett Johansson looks really attractive in that ‘The One’ Dolce & Gabbana ad

--

I felt like making eggy in a basket after watching V for Vendetta. Mine didn’t turn out as nice looking as the ones in the movie but at least it tasted good.

Posters came out for the new Spiderman and Batman movies

--

I started reading Civil War last week and it’s brilliant!
There was one issue in the series called casualties of war and the issue is basically just Tony (Iron Man) and Steve (Captain America) talking and it made me teary. Yeah I never thought a comic would make me emotional but Civil War is just so sad! I’ve still got a few issues to read

It’s Scooby’s birthday tomorrow

I’m thinking of dressing up as Penelope Garcia for my American TV Character party this weekend but I’m not sure yet. I’m not going to look anything like her, I don’t have the glasses or the hair or anything but we’ll see.
I don’t know who else to dress up as if the Garcia outfit doesn’t work
My dad just told me to dress up as Raven haha

All Of Me

The start of last week started off normal, me at home doing pretty much nothing.

I donated blood on Wednesday and I always feel really good after for some reason, probably because I feel like I’ve helped someone in some way.

My throat started to hurt on Wednesday so I thought great, I’m getting sick.
(See my colds usually start off with sore throats then that wears off and I get all the other things)

I missed Piyumi’s surprise party on Friday because I wasn’t feeling too great so my parents wouldn't let me out.
My cousins came over that night and my uncle, aunt and niece stayed for the weekend.
On Saturday we didn’t go anywhere because the weather was crap so my niece kept wanting me to play with her. I rediscovered my love for Nintendo 64 games because I have a few on my computer and I played them with her.
Sunday everyone went to the city except me (sick)
I thought I was starting to get better but boy was I wrong.
My ear started to hurt and it just got worse and worse and dear lord the pain was unbelievable. It was completely horrible and there was nothing I could do about it so I was internally screaming in pain for a couple of hours.

On Monday these people came to enclose our alfresco area so my dad came home early and took me to the doctors. The rest of the day was spent sleeping.
At 8:30 I put on the tv to watch Supernatural, the episode had barely started when my dad started yelling at me to turn it off because he didn’t want to watch it.
Gosh he didn’t have to watch it!
I waited two weeks to watch that episode but no I had to turn it off.
I also missed out on Viv’s Thanksgiving dinner/sleepover so I was bummed about that too

Tuesday morning, I didn’t want to leave the house but I had a call from the Salvo’s people asking if I would come in on Tuesday morning to talk to the owner of the shop. (I applied to volunteer at an op shop in Berwick)
So I got there and the lady talked to me and made me fill out a few forms then asked if I would come in next Tuesday so I said yes and all that and then left.
I was already really tired at this point and wanted to go home but I went to the library to pick up my reservation.

It’s THOR! (I was going to take a photo of it but it’s downstairs and I am too comfy in bed to go get it)
I’ve been waiting so long to watch it
It was like whenever I previously tried to watch it, something would go wrong so then I just decided till I got hold of a copy of the DVD so it could be viewed in perfect quality.

I still haven’t seen it; I’m waiting for when I feel a little better or when the ringing in my ear stops. It’s like the ringing you get after being somewhere really loud, like after a concert, except it’s only in one ear and it hasn’t stopped since Sunday.

The rest of the week has been me, sleeping a lot and watching a lot of tv since I couldn’t go on the internet, but internet is back and I have to catch up on my tv shows.

Last night I watched a bit of Undercover princesses, like undercover princes but with females yes anyway there’s an Indian one this time too.
I’m upset that Inside The Actors Studio isn’t on anymore, I don’t know what happened.

I went on imdb today and was a little shocked/surprised when I saw this

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

That first trailer is for a Hindi movie, how cool is that?

I was going through stuff and I found a form thing from the hospital (when I had my operation) that had my medication dosage on it and I had to take 16 tablets a day. How crazy!

HCR won an AMA for best new artist and I’m really happy for them
I listened to most of their new album and I don’t know, it’s stuff I don’t normally listen to so I’m a little upset at how much they’ve changed their sound. It’s completely pop now; it’s a shame because their last album was just SO GOOD.

I watched the music video for Time Bomb and all I could think was "OMG he's got an arc reactor! He's putting it in her! She's Iron Woman! Zack hair looks really nice"

Yes it made me laugh because of the Iron Man thing but otherwise a sort of normal video.

I also watched Say You Like Me and I liked the video, it was cute and it made me smile. It's my favourite WTK music video for sure

I was going through photos from Inverloch and came across this

When It Rains

Yesterday my morning started off pretty crappy, I got blamed for something which wasn’t my fault which led to the whole lecture/rant thing I seem to get every so often.
“You’re useless, you don’t have a job but everyone else does, you can’t drive, you don’t study properly, you need to lose weight...” and it goes on

So naturally I wasn’t feeling that great but boy was I glad to get out of the house. I hadn’t actually been out with friends since September so I really needed this.

I met up with Nayomi and Sandhya at MC, we walked around and saw that there was an eating contest going on so a lot of people were watching that. We got lunch then headed to the food court to sit down. We all tried the crepes at the crepe place for the first time and I wasn’t too impressed with it. We spent ages just talking about things so when it was time to go, I didn’t want to leave but it was nice catching up with them.

On the way home I got a phone call from my mum, she told me Scooby ran away (I panicked for a second) but he came back completely wet and dirty. When I got home I had a give him a bath and really, he didn’t look that bad, I’ve seen him dirtier.

I saw the trailers for both Snow White and the Huntsman and Mirror Mirror.

Snow White and the Huntsman

The trailer made the movie look pretty interesting; I know a lot of people are really hyped about it. I just hope the movie isn’t just completely violent and full of battle scenes. I still don’t really like the idea of Kristen Stewart as Snow White but I’ll have to wait and watch the movie before I start judging her performance. One thing I am looking forward to is Charlize Theron as the Queen. Ever since I watched Hancock, I found her really attractive and she looks amazing in this movie

Mirror Mirror

I don’t really know why but I was expecting a sort of dark twist to the fairy tale but after watching the trailer, I realised I was wrong. It looks like a happy family movie, I’m not complaining but yeah I don’t know. Julia Roberts doesn’t look evil enough to be the Queen and I don’t know what Lily Collins will be like because I haven’t seen her in a movie before but I am looking forward to seeing Armie Hammer as the prince because he looks completely gorgeous

I still think it’s weird that they’re making two Snow White related movies so close together (there’s that new show Once Upon a Time which also has Snow White in it, I guess that’s different though)but I guess they’ll both have different plots and all.

I went on imdb and saw this

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

and got really happy. I went on the Shame page and saw that they FINALLY had a release date for Australia which is February so it means I still have a bit of a wait but at least I have a date now. I’m going to probably end up watching this movie alone because I don’t really know anyone else who knows about it. I bet I’m going to feel awkward going into the movie because it’ll pretty much be like watching a porno from what I’ve heard.

Completely random note but I don’t understand perfume ads. There were quite a few on tv today but they all seem to have models in minimum clothing being sexual. I don’t know.

OMGOMGOMG I forgot to write about it before but oh gosh. So there was a girl in my course last year and we were friends and well she get married at the start of the year and it was like woah (she’s 23 I think, if you were wondering), well she left uni and is doing it off campus and all but last week or the week before I went on facebook and there was a picture of a baby and everyone was writing congratulatory messages, SHE HAS A BABY! It’s bizarre, my friend and I were talking about it but pretty much all we could say was omg. See it’s strange because at the start of last year we would catch the train together sometimes and she would complain about how she was never going to get a boyfriends and that’s she’s going to be all alone and now look at her, wow.

I found out Bryan Donahue left Boys Like Girls, gosh so many people leaving bands and all but I’m not surprised by it. It is sad though but yeah really not that surprising. They’re recording a third album though which is cool but after I saw them live last year I sort of stopped listening to them because they sounded so much better live then on their albums, I don’t know ignore me.

My cousin came over today and my dad bought beer because my Uncle only drinks beer or something, so my Uncle and cousin’s husband were drinking the beer and I saw that it was Carona and I remembered that it was the beer that John O’Callaghan drank at Soundwave. My mum was drinking wine and asked me if I wanted some so I went can I try the beer (I’ve never had it before)

“Yeah sure, ask your dad to get you some”
My dad came over and my mum told him I wanted beer

“No! You’ll get addicted”
“But I only want to try a tiny bit”
“No, you can drink agrum but I’m not giving you anything else”

Dammit

The downside of having a father who doesn’t drink any type of alcohol
There are heaps of bottles in the house now but he would probably know if I took a bottle plus that would be dodgy of me

I downloaded a part of the Civil War yesterday (that sounds strange) but the Civil War is a story arc in the Marvelverse (is that even a word? Maybe marvel universe sounds better) but I can’t read it because I need this program to open the file that I downloaded so now I can’t read it until the start of next month because I’ll be capped soon and it makes me sad but no one actually cares do they?

I’ve also missed all my shows this week which hasn’t been TOO bad. I’ll get to watch Supernatural on tv tomorrow (if I remember) and I think TBBT is also on but I really want to watch American Horror Story and it’s on tv but I think it’s 2 or 3 weeks behind so that annoys me.

Thanh told me about this show called undercover princes so I watched it and it was so funny. These three princes (one from India, Sri Lanka and South Africa) stay in England and live and date like normal people. After their time is up they decide on one person to take back to their country to show them their homes. The Indian one is gay and he makes me laugh, he’s so cute.

After the show ended I was going to put on a movie but Inside the Actors Studio came on. I watch episodes of that online so I got really excited. The episode on that night was Mickey Rourke and I initially wasn’t going to watch it but I did and it was really good and there was a part where I got teary.

Every time I go on a website that has ads on it, I get ones like this

It knows me -cue creepy music- (no not really)

That was a lot of rambling

Keep It Simple

The day I finished my exam, I planned on relaxing at home and celebrating by watching a couple of movies. This didn’t go to plan because I had a horrible headache. I watched a tiny bit of Sunshine then started watching Star Trek. I was planning on staying up so I could watch Panic Room. While Star Trek was playing, my mum suddenly went SPOCK! When she saw the tv, she had a little fangirl moment and told me that Spock was her favourite when she was a kid and that she watched Star Trek when it was on tv. My headache wasn’t getting any better so I decided to call it a night,

The next night my dad was out for a catering thing so I made dinner for myself and my mum then put on The Incredible Hulk. While I was towards the end of the movie, my dad came home so I told him Terminator Salvation was on if he wanted to watch it. He said he would watch it with me in the theatre room so I told him I was watching another movie, he still came and sat with me to watch it. He asked me about the movie so I got really excited and started explaining about the Hulk. Yes I get excited by these things, he normally doesn’t listen to me when I explain movies, like the other day I tried telling him about X-Men and he wasn’t listening to me. My mum came in and watched the end of the movie and kept complaining about how much fighting there was.
After the movie my dad told me to go to bed

-No, I want to watch another movie
-You’re acting like you haven’t seen a movie in ages
-But it’s the holidays!

My mum then told him to let me watch a movie

-I got a new Hindi movie put that on (my dad)
-Noooooo I want to watch my movie
-Put on Red Dog (mum)
-I don’t have Red Dog...

She then told me to put on the Filmfare Awards (Hindi movie awards)
so I looked for it an found it online
I’ve said this before but I love award shows!

(Ignore this part if you don’t know anything about Hindi movies)
I won’t say much but it was really good, it was hosted by Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan who were really funny. I swear Ranbir is getting more attractive.
Shahrukh Khan and Kajol won best leading male and female so I was all happy
Yeah that’s all I’ll say
But it made me want to watch Hindi movies again, I've missed out on so many, I had to keep asking my parents about the movies because I hadn't seen any of them

You can start reading this again

On Sunday my cousin came over so my niece wanted to watch a movie, so after going through my movies, she picked out Dinosaur. Gosh it had been so long since I’ve seen it, I think I watched it at the movies when it came out, I was sort of in love with dinosaurs when I was a kid. It was funny watching the movie with my niece because she was ask me questions like when one dinosaur got hurt, she asked if he was going to go to the Doctors.

After they left I watched The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
I can’t make up my mind on whether I liked this film or not, some things confused me so I think I need to watch it again another time.

I went to Dandy Plaza and I was just browsing through the shops, I swear 80% of the clothes are sleeveless. I know it's almost summer and all but this annoys me because it's so hard to find clothes that I would wear and I don't wear sleeveless. I can't find t-shirts anywhere, I need to go shopping.

Yesterday I put on Batman: Under The Red Hood, I had downloaded it a couple of weeks ago and was really looking forward to watching it but when I put it on, it cut off after the first minute so I got upset. My internet is going to be capped soon so I can’t look for another download link until next month.

I went to the gym after AGES last night and went to a zumba class, it was so packed and most of the people there looked new to me. One of the songs was Sexy and I know it by LMFAO so I couldn’t stop laughing throughout the whole song.

I went on the jb hi fi website to look at DVDs and I saw X-Men: First Class on BluRay for $30 something, argh I thought it was cheaper, now it's going to take me longer to buy and I also want to buy Captain American on BluRay as well as the Harry Potter Boxset on BluRay
I don't see me owning any of these any time soon

Well that’s all for now, I hope I can go out and catch up with people next week.
I’m going to write a couple of movie posts later on my other blog so check them out if you want, later.

Nimrod

Oh look another blog post to waste time

I had a dream last night where I was at a music festival (with Jenny) and I was trying to get a photo with Josh from YM@S but this girl kept getting in my photo so I was really annoyed but then Josh kissed me on the (haha I know) so I was all happy after that.
We then went to see Panic but the signing tickets were all sold so I asked them if I could talk to them after the signings and they said yes. So I went over to them and asked if I could talk to Brendon and Spencer and they said yes so I went over and started talking to them. I told them how much their music means to me and all that and then I started crying and was like oh god I can’t believe I’m crying but then Spencer got teary and then Brendon and Spencer hugged me. I don’t remember what happened next then I was with Jenny again and was like oh crap we missed Cobra Starship.
That’s all I remember.

I forgot to write about this award show I watched last week. It was the Scream awards and oh gosh it was so good! The whole setting of the place looked amazing and there were all these people dressed up in costumes and they looked really cool (I wonder how you get tickets for it). They also had performers around the sides who were dressed up too like circus performers and things. The Scream awards are for horror/thriller/sci fi/fantasy and superhero movies/tv shows so I was fangirling over a lot of things. It started off with Robert Downey Jr. getting a Hero award and he was so awesome. I fangirled over Matt Smith winning best sci fi actor and they had a Harry Potter tribute and had Dan Rad talk (he also won best fantasy actor). They also had previews of upcoming movies and had Gary Oldman, JGL and Anne Hathaway talk because The Dark Knight Rises won most anticipated movie but oh gosh the whole show was so good and entertaining.

Oh my god. So this thing happens where I watch a movie and then a week or a couple of weeks later that movie comes on tv and I always find it weird. It just happened, I was checking to the guide to see what movies are on next Friday and Sunshine is on!

I thought I would post this song even though it’s been out for a little while but it’s so great and I LOVE the video. The game looks brilliant, I wish I had a game console so I could play the game.

I decided I’m going to get X-Men: First Class on BluRay even though I can’t afford it right now (I know it’s only $20 something but I have no money)

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

It has more features than the DVD so yes. I can’t wait to get it!
I’m going to force my dad to watch it with me.

This is a bit random (not that my other thoughts aren’t) but We Are The In Crowd are doing a pretty good job with getting their name out there, I mean all the tours they’re doing and stuff and they’ve only recently put out an album and only had an EP out before then. Then I think about This Century and I mean they are getting bigger but not like WATIC. They haven’t been overseas or anything and it annoys me a little. I mean I like WATIC but comparing them to This Century, TC are amazing imo, completely underrated and I wish more people knew about them. I don’t even know what I’m saying just ignore me.

I’ve still got two exams left, one on Wednesday and Friday and I haven’t been studying properly for them which is really bad because there is so much to remember for them both and still so much reading to do but I hate that the readings are online. I get horrible headaches from looking at the screen for too long.

I was talking to my mum before and she told me once holidays start I can plan my meals and she’ll give me money so I can go grocery shopping to buy everything I need and I can make my own meals instead of eat what she makes, this way I can keep track of what I eat.
I’m looking forward to planning it all, I’m going to try and go to the gym everyday too so I hope it all works out.

That is all for now, I’m not going to blog until my exams are over (otherwise I would probably post something every day)

Don't Give Up On Us

I watched the latest episode of Glee today.
Everyone loves the new Irish guy, I find him annoying and weird and his accent is strong so I don’t understand him sometimes.
Almost all the characters are annoying
Britney’s stupidity isn’t funny anymore; I don’t know how someone that stupid could be in high school.
You must be thinking why do I still watch the show if I don’t like it, I actually don’t know, I decided to stick with it for the rest of the season then stop once it ends.

I forgot to mention in my last post that my cousin got a tattoo on his wrist
He’s the first one in the family (besides my grandparents). I wanted to be the first one!
Here it is

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

It’s my auntie’s name

The pre order for The Maine’s new album came out today and I don’t like the album cover

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
But it’s the music that’s important and the one song they’ve released from it sounds good, plus I’m really looking forward to hearing the recorded version of My Heroine.
One of the songs on the album is called Jenny and that’s John’s mum’s name so I thought it was really cute that he wrote a song about his mum.

Seeing all this news about Kim Kardashian is pissing me off. They had it on the news about how she’s in Australia for the races and that she got a divorce blah blah, who the fuck cares? I still don’t understand why she’s famous. It seriously weirds me out that so many girls want to be like her, WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE HER? I don’t think I’ll ever understand.

Since my internet is back, I’ve been on tumblr way too much and I need to stop.
I’m finding it hard to start studying again; ugh exams please be over already.

I watched this video and thought it was funny

Although it doesn’t feel like it right now, summer is approaching and this means I can no longer wear hoodies so I want to get more t-shirts.
I want to get this t-shirt

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Isn’t it lovely? I think I would prefer it in white though but the marvel website only has it in navy so that’s a shame.

This person on tumblr posted these minimalistic posters

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This one is of some of the Avengers but she’s got other ones with other superheroes but oh my god they’re so amazing!
I LOVE how they look and I wish I could get those designs on t-shirts, how awesome would it look!?

She’s done one t-shirt and I think it looks great

I wrote my first movie post on my other blog if you wanted to go check it out, please comment if you do (it makes me happy). HERE is the link

This Is Halloween

I feel so bloody drained from my exam today so I don’t know how I’m going to study tonight for my second exam which is tomorrow. I’ve been capped since Tuesday so I thought I would manage to get more done but no, I found other ways to distract myself.

I didn’t get to watch any of my shows last week so I’m hoping on catching up soon although I realised that by Wednesday, I’ll have 16 episodes to watch.

This is one of those useless blog posts where I don’t really have anything to say but I’m blogging anyway because I want to.

Once again it’s Halloween, once again it is spent doing nothing but studying for exams. I hate it, I wish Halloween was big here and that everyone got dressed up and decorated their houses and kids went trick or treating.

Oh! Just got 3 little girls dressed up as witches and it totally sucked because I thought we had lollies in the house but we only had lollypops and now I only have 4 left so I hope no one else comes.

So Halloween!

I thought I would share one of my favourite Halloween song

So it’s my parent’s anniversary today and we usually go out for dinner but because I have an exam tomorrow I can’t go. I told my parents to go to a restaurant and then bring me back some take away but they wouldn’t listen to me, they didn’t want to go because I wasn’t going to be there so now we’re all having take away.

Ok yeah I don’t really have anything to say except that I made a new blog.

It’s going to be a movie blog so yes, HERE is the link if anyone is interested (the url is temporary until I can think of something better, (WHY ARE ALL THE URLS TAKEN) ), I haven’t written about any yet but I will when I have more time.

Bad

Uni is officially over for me so now all that’s left are exams. Mine start on the 31st and I feel completely screwed but that hasn't made me study yet has it so I should really get to that soon.

I hate it because I procrastinate a lot during swotvac and I end up watching a lot of movie or tv shows and it’s horrible. Semester 1 swotvac I discovered Downton Abbey so I ended up watching the whole series then and also watched a lot of X-Men Evolution. So far I’ve had two days at home and I’ve seen 2 movies and episodes of various shows. I’m horrible I know.

I see to have found a new love for Robert Downey Jr. which is funny because I used to bag him all the time (just because Paula liked him, I used to bag everyone she liked).
I watched one of his movies today Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I tried to find a pretty graphic for it but I got nothing so there’s the movie poster

I don’t know why it took me so long to watch it but I thought it was great! I got a tad confused at the end but the movie made me laugh and it was really entertaining and I would definitely watch it again.
I wish I could get paid to watch movies.

I forgot to mention a few things that happened last week.
I was at uni one day and I was walking to go to my class when someone dressed as a clown came out of the uni shop and walked in front of me, I was definitely not expected that so I was a little startled and they had the creepy kind of clown makeup on too (You know the clowns that look like they’re going to kill you).
I woke up on the train one afternoon and looked out the window. I was looking at the houses because I can see into the backyards of some of them and there was one backyard that had a TARDIS in it! I got so excited so I was sitting there smiling to myself. Whoever lives there is AWESOME for having a massive TARDIS in their backyard, it made me want to have one, I don’t know what I would do with it though.
I got a letter from Susan last Friday which was really exciting but I still haven’t replied so I feel bad, I should send it soon.

Thought I would post this because I think it’s beautiful, I love his voice

I saw this gif on tumblr

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

and it reminded me of the first time I saw the video clip for the song
So I thought I would share the story with you
I was at my friend’s house in year 9 and she was making me watch all these Jay Sean music videos, then I remembered that there was a music video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies so I asked her if we could watch it.
She kept bagging everything about it while I sat there thinking who is this beautiful man, and that was the day I fell in love with Brendon Urie (I didn’t really know what he looked like before I watched that, yeah I know that wasn't a very good story)

On Beauty and the Geek they had two makeovers for the geeks and I wasn't very happy with them. The one on the girl geek was ok but the guy geek's makeover was bad. Lachlan (the guy geek) was cute to begin with but now they made him all orange and took away his glasses and made his hair really short so he just looks weird now. Next week the rest of the geeks get makeovers so we'll see what they look like.

The right ear on my earphone isn’t working so I need to get new ones which I was supposed to do today but I had to look after a kid from 12-2 and after that I just got lazy and didn’t feel like going out.
X-Men: First Class came out on DVD and BluRay this week. The BluRay version has a better cover and it’s only $2 more than the normal one but I don’t like BluRay because they don’t play on normal DVD players. Oh but it looks so nice, X-Men: FC on BluRay in the theatre room would be lovely.
(I just said BluRay a lot)
I really want to buy it but I have to save up for Soundwave ’12 so I can pay back for the ticket.

Gosh I don’t really have anything else to say, what a dull and pointless post.

Sugar, We're Going Down

The day after I heard about TAI breaking up, I was on the train to uni and one of their songs came on my ipod. I heard these lyrics

The writers weren’t kidding about how all good things must end....
The writers weren’t kidding but the good things will live in our hearts

And it made me smile. Although TAI are over, their songs will live on and I’m glad I can listen to them whenever I want to.

I forgot to post about this when it happened, well I don’t think I posted about it, if I did sorry for repeating myself. So you know how I help run a fuckyeah blog on tumblr, well we got a message a couple of weeks ago

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Yes that message is from RK Follese
I started freaking out when I saw it, made me really happy
So nice of him to leave us a message!

Last Friday I had to look after 4 kids and it was a little bit of a nightmare mainly because one of those kids annoys me. I gave them icy poles to eat but they started getting it all over the floor and the youngest one got it all over Scooby so I had to wash him.
While this was happening, one of the girls asked me why Scooby had stiches
“Umm, they had to remove a part of him so he can’t have babies”
“Oh so he could have babies before?”
“Yeah if there was a girl dog”
“So if he touched the girl dog would they have babies?” (different kid)
“Umm...no”
“Where do babies come from”
(Oh crap)
“They come from tummies” (one of the kids)
“So you get a hole in your tummy and the baby grows and they have to cut it open?”
“No that’s not what happens...maybe wait till you’re a little older, you’ll learn about it” (me)
“I think people have to have s-e-x!”
“Ewwwwwwwwwwwwww! Do they?”
“I have no idea”

I changed the subject so they wouldn’t ask me anything else.
After this they wanted to watch youtube videos in the theatre room so I put it on for them and the first song they wanted was Lady Marmalade. Now I didn’t realise what Lady Marmalade was until I put it on. Let me tell you, seeing a couple of kids singing and dancing to Lady Marmalade is so wrong and weird, especially when one of those kids is a boy. After this they wanted more songs so I put them on for them and they continued to sing along to all of them.

That night I FINALLY watched Sherlock Holmes and I loved it! Can’t wait for the second one, Robert Downey Jr. makes a great Sherlock Holmes and I loved the chemistry between Holmes and Watson.

Sumo came over on Friday and we talked for a bit then started watching Source Code. After a while Piyumi came over so we sat and talked until she left. Sumo and I then continues watching Source Code. Overall I think it’s a good movie but the ending confused me. We watched The Fighter next and I liked it, I thought it was going to be a boring movie but it wasn’t. Sumo had to leave after this so I walked her to the bus stop then walked around a bit, the trees around there were covered in lichen so I picked off a piece (it’s for uni, I don’t normally collect bits of lichen) and took it home.
My parents went to the hospital because my cousin is in hospital so I stayed home, made myself dinner and watched Iron Man.

I started watching this new show called American Horror Story (bad time to start a new show I know). It’s about a family who move into this house where several murders have taken place and yeah. I watched the pilot and it’s weird and a little twisted and very creepy. I recommend watching it, I found it interesting. It’s weird to think that the creators of Glee could make a show like this, they’re so different.
Here’s the promo for it. (don’t worry there’s nothing scary in it)

I told myself that I wouldn’t watch Downton Abbey until exams were over but I couldn’t help myself, I have to watch the episode as soon as it comes out and oh gosh last weeks episode was so good!
Seriously though, if you haven’t seen it before, you should, such a good show

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

These two asvadbfnsfns

I started shipping them pretty much since they first spoke to each other. I want them to get together!

Oh look I found a photo of myself in Indian clothes whilst doing a bit of stalking

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

(I know random)

Today there was a live stream of a Panic! At The Disco concert which I thought was very cool. One bad thing though, the video cut out near the end of the show so I missed them doing a cover of Carry On My Wayward Son (which I love because of Supernatural) but the audio still worked so at least I got to hear it.

Nothing else has really happened, isn’t my life exciting?
My exams start in two weeks so I’m freaking out because I haven’t started studying yet, I’ve still got one assignment to do so I can start after I’ve done that.
I just want it to be over.

Oh oh! Our flights and accommodation have been booked so we’re officially going to Thailand!
Yaaaaaaaaay!
I’m so excited because I haven’t been overseas in years plus I’ve never been to Thailand so super excited. We’re going in January for a week so I have something to look forward to.

Yeah I think that’s it.

Oh! On one of my earlier posts, someone left a message asking for X-Men Evolution episodes but they left the message as anon so I have no idea who you are. Who are you?

The End

I don’t know how to start

I sit here typing this out with tears streaming down on my face and as hard as I try to control them I just can’t.

The Academy Is... have split up

It’s over for the band; everyone is going their separate ways

Words can’t describe how much they mean to me

Ah fuck I don’t know what to say

I’ll never get to see them all together, never get to hear my favourite songs being performed live

Their music saved me and I’m not just saying that

I don’t know what else to say

Thank you TAI for everything

You will be missed

Edit:

The Butcher went on a little twitter rant and gosh I love him

Best intentions

My day started off pretty crappy, I woke up late so I was rushing around trying to get ready, I was having a bad hair day (my fringe went all curly as soon as I left the house) and the trains were all screwed. I finally got to Essendon station where I got picked up by Jenny and her dad and we then got dropped off at Festival Hall. We made our way to the line then Melissa caught up with us. Once we got in we went straight to the line to buy signing tickets. It was really dark inside and the first band (We Are The Ocean) had already started playing so it was quite loud. Half way through the line we found out the Panic! At The Disco and All Time Low tickets were sold out so naturally I felt gutted. We stayed in line though, Melissa and I ended up buying a ticket to see We Are The In Crowd.

As soon as I went in I wasn’t very happy with the venue, it’s good for a concert but not for a music festival even though this one wasn’t very big. The stage was split in half so one band would perform on one side then the next on the other. We walked around a bit while Terrible Things were playing and once they finished we made our way into the crowd and watched The Swellers. The crowd started a circle pit but luckily we weren’t near it, we moved to the other side of the stage.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

While The Swellers were on, We Are The In Crowd were setting up so I was watching them set up and at one point, Mike Ferri (bassist) waved at the crowd and it was so cute! We Are The In Crowd began to play and they were the first band so far who I was looking forward to seeing, they were pretty good but something seemed to be wrong with the microphones so at times I couldn’t really hear Tay (singer) and Jordon (also singer). There were a group of guys who were going crazy moshing in the pit and I thought it was funny for some reason.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Alesana were on next and they were a screamo band so it was my first time seeing screamo. Yeah I didn’t particularly enjoy it and the lead singer’s facial expressions were freaky at times. We left the crowd during their set, stood on the side and watched Go Radio set up (one of the guys was really attractive so I kept watching him). Melissa and I left to stand in line for the WATIC signing, I watched Go Radio perform from the line and got to see pretty much all of their set because the line wasn’t moving. I thought they were really impressive, I liked how the attractive guy moved around the stage and I loved their cover of Rolling In The Deep (wish I took some photos of them).

We finally got inside the small side room were the signings were taking place.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Melissa went in front of me and a lady asked for our tickets. I went to look for mine but couldn’t find it and I started to panic because I had it on me a second ago. A few people went past me as I frantically looked for my ticket but no luck. The lady then told me it was ok and she let me go, Rob Chianelli (drummer) was first so him and Mike signed my book then Tay did. She asked me how I was so I said good then told her their performance was great so she thanked me and thanked me for making the effort to come and see them (she’s so cute!). Cameron and Jordon had already signed my book so I asked for a photo but then the security lady came and “NO PHOTOS!” so I said bye and left.

Melissa and I couldn’t find Jenny so we stood at the back and watched Hellogoodbye. I really liked them, they sounded more rock live and they seemed all quirky and cute so they were really good.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

After their set Melissa and I made our way to the front of the crowd and Jenny then joined us, we were planning on staying there to see if we could make it to the barrier by the time Yellowcard played but we were all hungry so we left. After a quick toilet break (yes you needed to know that) we went outside to line up for food. It was raining and it was cold so it wasn’t very pleasant but we were hungry so we stayed there. The rain probably wasn’t the best thing for my cold but what could I do. This girl standing in front of us in the line started talking to us and we found out she was 15 (she looked a lot older), she said we looked young. After a long wait we finally got to the front, got food then made our way inside again. The girl asked if she could hang around with us because she was alone so we said yes. We sat inside, ate and listened to Funeral For A Friend (another screamo band) (I was a little bummed out because I missed The Damned Things which has two members of Fall Out Boy in it. We thought the lead singer of Funeral For A Friend had a funny accent and that he sounded like Gerard Butler (Jenny, I looked them up and they’re from Wales). After FFAF we went back down into the crowd and watched Set Your Goals. We almost got caught in the circle pit which was fucking scary. During one of their songs, Alex from All Time Low came on stage and sang with them so that was really cool.

This Providence were on next and I was really looking forward to them. Dan Young (singer) started talking about how Melbourne was his first home and that he grew up here and went to high school until he moved to the states. Who even knew he was Australian? I had never heard him talk so I didn’t know, he’s still got the accent so that’s pretty cool. I like him more now because he’s from Melbourne, anyway their set was really good. I knew the songs even though I didn’t know all the words and they ended up playing a new song which was cool so yeah I really enjoyed them.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I don’t know why I like this photo so much

The one downside was, where I was standing, there was a girl next to me who was really aggressive and kept elbowing me and pushing me (I wanted to punch her, I was so annoyed). I would just push her back if she pushed me, oh my god she annoyed me so much!

Story Of The Year were next (another band who I wouldn’t normally listen to because they’re more hardcore than my music). I really liked one of the guitarists in the band because he looked all happy and he was moving around the stage a lot. Even though I was in the third row from the front I still had a really bad view because everyone was so goddamn tall! There were a couple of guys next to me who were like giants; I don’t know why they needed to be so close to the front.

Face To Face next, they were an old band and the singer said they had been together for 20 years so that was pretty cool. I couldn’t really see them but there was this man in the crowd who was moshing along and the singer was like it’s nice to see some old timers here.

Yellowcard were on next, another band I was looking forward to. One of the guys in the band plays violin so I thought it was funny seeing him being all hardcore on stage with a violin but the band are awesome.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

At this point I couldn’t really see anything so I wanted to get out of the crowd. Melissa, Jenny and I got out and went over to where the signings were because panic were signing at that time and we wanted to see if we could see them from the outside. I looked into the room but I could only see Dallon (touring bass) and Ian (touring lead guitar). At this point I got really upset because I wasn’t going to get to see them (no I didn’t cry ), I had a letter that I written to Brendon and Spencer and I wanted to give it to them so I went up to a girl and asked if she would give them the letter, she said she would so we left after that. We went down into the bar to see what it was like, it was just a room sort of thing where you could buy alcohol and get away from the music for a little while, nothing special so we went back upstairs. We watched Yellowcard from the side of the stage and I spotted Zack from All Time Low eating a massive piece of watermelon which was funny. We spotted other band guys on stage watching Yellowcard from the side. Tay and Mike from WATIC, All of All Time Low and a few other bands. Jenny then spotted the drummer from Go Radio who was standing next to us so we freaked out a little and we wanted to take a photo with him but we didn’t know how to ask so I pretended to take a photo of Jenny so I could get him in the background.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This girl then asked us why we didn’t just talk to him (clearly she doesn’t know us). I told Jenny I would ask him but then I made Melissa ask.

Melissa went up to him and asked for a photo but he misunderstood and took her camera and took a photo of us so we went “No! You have to be in the photo”.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

So after that photo we saw Forrest (singer of Hellogoodbye) walk past so we followed him. He was talking to these girls, with another member of the band and they seemed to be really close (wish I could talk like that), Forrest even smelt one of the girl’s hair which was a little strange and the other guy kissed another girl on the cheek for a photo. Forrest started to leave so we ran after him and got a photo.

We then saw the other guy walk past us so more running and I tapped him on the shoulder and asked for a photo, Forrest got into this photo too.

After this we went and watched the rest of Yellowcard’s set. They finished with Ocean Avenue which got everyone crazy, there were all these people dancing along to the song.

We went back to the alcohol area to see if we could spot any band guys hanging around, we saw Forrest and the other Hellogoodbye guy talking to a few people so we went back up and looked for some, I just saw Zack who is Panic’s bodyguard/manager but I don’t like him very much. We left and watched The Young Guns.

All Time Low were on now so we got into the crowd and things got crazy pretty soon. We were in the middle of the crowd and my view wasn’t the best but it was okay, the 15 year old girl from before ended up being behind us (I forgot to mention we lost her before). They played a lot of songs from their new album which made me happy. They sang Time-Bomb and Guts which are my favourite songs from the album. Alex and Jack were talking about something and they started doing this little dance and it was so funny and cute, I wish I took a video of it. They were both really funny and kept making sexual jokes. Everyone sang along to the songs really loudly and at times I couldn’t hear Alex’s voice because the crowd were so loud but it was so awesome. I was surprised at how many guys were ATL fans, I never expected there to be so many. One bad thing, there were a group of guys standing behind me who were really annoying and kept bagging ATL, seriously if you don’t like the band then don’t watch them! It ruins it for everyone else. One of the guys had a whistle so he kept blowing it and that was really annoying. I was taking a video of one of their songs and one of the guys behind me told me I wasn’t allowed to.

“Excuse me but you can’t take a video of them”

“What?”

He then pulled out a tag that said security so I was like what the fuck

“I didn’t come here to watch them through your camera”

I was then getting really annoyed and he had interrupted my recording so I had stopped it, he then told me he was joking and told me to keep recording.

The whistle guy was getting really close to this girl and he was asking her to dance with him, she said no and turned around so he started dancing really closely behind her (really inappropriately too) and it was so gross ugh.

Back to ATL, they played Lost in Stereo which is my favourite and finished it with Dear Maria, Count Me In. Overall they were amazing, they announced that they would be coming back next year so looking forward to that.

I lost Jenny after ATL and was in the middle of the stage, 4 rows from the front. I couldn’t see a thing and thought it was pretty pointless if I stayed there so I left with Melissa and went into the middle of the crowd. We watched D.R.U.G.S (Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows) and saw that their audience were getting crazy. While drugs were playing, the stage was being set for Panic and I got really excited when I saw Tony Marino who is The Academy Is...’s tour manager. Finally time for Panic to play, everyone started moving closer so I was pushed along with the crowd and once again my view wasn’t very good.

They came out and started off with Ready To Go, I decided to move back even more to somehow get a better view of the stage. They played more songs and I sang as loud as I could. Brendon was wearing a shirt with suspenders (wish he had a bow tie on) but oh gosh I have never been more attracted to someone before, seriously the most attractive guy ever.

Brendon started talking and kept saying how great the crowd were and that we were the best ones on the tour so far (every band says that).

“I want to fuck everyone of you”

(*cheer*)

“Well no not everyone, I would have to check your ids first”

He told us a story about how there’s something up with his sweat glands so he sweats excessively and that when he was a kid at school he would be the only one sitting there sweating and everyone including his teacher would laugh at him and that played on his self esteem.

The crowd started chanting “Take it off”

“Is that all I am to you? I’m just a piece of meat (I don’t even know)”

The chanting continued and he started laughing and said he would take his suspenders off, the chanting kept going so he gave in and took his shirt off so everyone went crazy.

Oh my god he was so sexy! You don’t want to know what I was thinking then (is this getting too weird for you? I’ll stop)

He sreamo-ed some of the lyrics so the songs and it was a good kind of scream, I was amazed at his vocal range, he’s seriously improved so much throughout the years.

They sang a few of their old songs and when they performed Camisado I remembered them playing it the last time I saw them and I got a little emotional because of the whole Ryan and Jon leaving (Yes I’m still not completely over that and no I didn’t cry) but ah god it was so amazing, I love that song so much.

Brendon told us that his mum has had the same ringtone for the past 6 years and that it was I Write Sins Not Tragedies, so they sang that and that got everyone crazy.

They covered a The Darkness song (I believe in a thing called love) which sounded really good then they found out they had time to play an extra song so he got people to vote out of That Green Gentlemen and New Perspective (the later one won). He told us a story about how he got to write that song for the movie Jennifer’s Body and that all he knew about the movie at the time was about this one scene where the two main (female) characters make out so that’s pretty much all he had for the song then he told us it was a really sexual song and performed it and it was awesome.

They finished their set with Nearly Witches and that was it. Overall absolutely amazing! They’re such a good live band and they make the whole show entertaining. Downsides were my horrible view of the stage but that couldn’t really be helped. I came to the conclusion that I hate tall people, people who hold up signs and people who get up on other people’s shoulders. I wish they played more songs from Pretty. Odd. (they only played one) and they didn’t play Build God Then We’ll Talk (a part of my life will be complete once I’ve heard that song being performed live). That’s about it really, it better not take them another 3 years to come back here, I want a headlining show!

The three of us then left the venue and parted with Melissa then stood outside to see if we could spot any band guys leaving. A van went past and jenny waved at it and someone waved back but we don’t know who it was, didn’t really get a good look. After a while we got picked up by Jenny’s dad then got Maccas for dinner then went to her house where we looked at the photos.

We had decided to go to the airport the next day to see if we could spot anyone, problem was, we had no idea what time they were going to be there.

I got woken up by Jenny around 9 something, she told me she had been checking twitter to see if any of the band guys said anything about going to the airport. She saw that the WATIC manager had his location turned on and it was at Melbourne Airport so we got dressed and got dropped off at the airport. It was now around 10:20 and there was no one there, we looked at the Virgin Blue check in and also Qantas and Jet Star but still no luck. While we walked around we saw a group of girls sitting down who also looked like they were waiting for a band.

We sat down for a while and looked out at every taxi or van that went past but still nothing, my hopes were being dashed now and I thought we had come on a failed mission. The next flight was at 2:10 and I didn’t know if I wanted to wait that long but we stayed there and kept watch. Some people got out of a taxi and they looked like they were in a band but we couldn’t recognise any of them. I had so many missed calls from my parents at this point and I was starting to worry because I couldn’t tell them that I was at the airport. Waiting there pretty much sucked, we had nothing to do so we just sat there. While waiting I saw this kid and thought he looked like Jack Vidgen (the kid who won Australia’s got talent), when we got closer I saw that it was him and it made me laugh, so weird seeing him there. Only I was amused though because Jenny had no idea who he was. On twitter some random girl had tweeted about there being girls at Adelaide airport at 10 waiting for Panic to arrive, she then said that they would have a 7 hour wait, we tried tweeting her for details but nothing. Around 12 we saw a tweet from the Go Radio drummer.

We thought that maybe they were going to come to the airport soon, so we waited around a bit then decided to check out Virgin Blue because there was a flight at 1 something. We went into the shops then went back up and went on the trading post and looked at puppies for a bit, still no luck. I was pretty upset at this point, so we walked back to the Qantas area. While walking back I looked over and freaked out because I saw Dan Young from This Providence with another TP band member. We followed them but they went inside a café place so we stood outside and went into the shop next to it to decide what we were going to do. Jenny started freaking out a bit too much so I had to calm her down, we wanted to take a photo with them but thought we would wait until they had made their orders. We stood in the shop behind a shelf of power plugs and pretended we were looking at the plugs, this went on for a little while and we would take quick glances to see what they were up to.

“Jenny wouldn’t it be funny if Dan just popped out from behind the shelf?”

“Hey are you two hiding here?”

(I was so embarrassed at this point)

We both laughed and I can’t really remember what we said to him, I didn’t know what to do so I told him their show was great last night and thanked him, he thanked us for coming.

“Will you come back soon for another show?”

“Yeah of course, I mean we can’t just come once then never come back, that would be rude”

“We didn’t know you were from Melbourne”

“Yeah (I don’t know what else he said)”

“Do you come back often?”

“Umm once every year or so. Sorry if I’m a little out of it, I’m a little hungover”

“Did you guys party last night?”

“Yeah”

Ok I can’t really remember what else was said but pretty much after every question/ answer there would be an awkward pause where Dan would go so... or yeah...

Dammit Dan

Jenny did most of the talking so I didn’t really help in making it less awkward

We asked for a photo and he said yes so Jenny asked a lady to take it and Dan went “We have to take it in front of your hiding place” (oh my god)

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

We got the photo then he left with the other band guy, Jenny and I stayed in the shop, laughed and I kept going on about how awkward and embarrassing that was.

We walked back to the Qantas place and fangirled a little, I was going to go up to the group of girls to ask them who they were waiting for. We almost got to the girls when I saw Spencer, Dallon and Ian and I started freaking out, I showed Jenny then the two of us went over to them. One of the girls from the group also came over, she gave them letters. While this was happened we saw that Ian was stuffing an orange peel into a water bottle so Jenny asked him what he was doing. He said he couldn’t find a bin anywhere then the other guys went yeah we can’t find one anywhere (there was one in the corner). Spencer then said something about how we should get into the industry of making bins. Jenny then got a card signed, I didn’t have a pen so I kind of just stood there staring at Spencer. The girl asked for a photo so I took one for her, we then asked for a photo. I was standing next to Ian and the photo was about to be taken when I heard Dallon (I think) say “Brendon get in!” I turned around and Brendon Urie was standing behind me and smiled and I completely flipped out. I turned around to face the camera and made this weird sound and face and I was trying to stay as calm as I could.

After the photo was taken everyone but Brendon left. I told him the show was great, he said thank you. I told him we couldn’t see him the night before because the signing tickets were sold out, then told him I gave this girl a letter to give to him and that I hope he got it. I don’t know what he said in response to that. I asked him for a photo then Jenny got one and he left after that to join the other guys.

ascadvsfb he's so perfect! Our babies would be so beautiful

Oh my god he was so nice! They all were.

We stood there fangirled some more and watched them go through security. Brendon had to take off his jacket for some reason so we took creepy photos of them in line, then saw that Dan and the other guy were in line too.

We sat down once they left and decided to wait around for All Time Low. I was beyond happy at this point but then I got a phone call from my dad who yelled at me for not picking up the phone or calling them, so I got told off pretty badly and I was about to start crying (I know! I’m so weak when it comes to my parents). I wanted to go through security to see if we could see panic again but Jenny wanted to wait for ATL for a bit longer. After a while and no luck we decided to go through. It felt weird being there because we weren’t getting a plane anywhere. We knew that their plane was leaving from Gate 6 so we headed that way, while walking I spotted Zack from ATL walking with a few guys from other bands. A couple of girls stopped him for a photo so we ran up to get one too.

“I’m going to lose my friends”

We both said we were really sorry for keeping him, seriously though it’s not like he was going to do anything but sit down once he got to the gate so I got a little annoyed at him.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Damn girl for shaking when she took the photo

We kept walking and saw more band guys walking, when we got to Gate 6 I looked in and oh god there were so many of them just sitting there. Imagine getting on that plane; ah how brilliant would that be.

I saw Jack (ATL) walking towards gate 6 from the opposite direction but we couldn’t get there fast enough and he went and sat down with the others. The group of girls from upstairs were here too, we didn’t want to disturb them so we kind of just stood there; I kept looking into the room to see who was there. All the ATL guys were there, This Providence and a few other bands. Panic however weren’t, I then realised they were sitting at gate 7, I don’t know why. After a while of doing nothing, we saw a couple of girls walking towards the room so we followed them. They got a photo with Alex then left, we then went up to Alex and asked for a photo.

“The signings were sold out so we couldn’t see you yesterday”

“You’re here now so that’s cool, are you catching a flight?”

“Uh no”

“You just live here then”

“Yeah”

“You live in the airport”

We thanked him then stood there. Jenny went to Jack and whispered his name.

“Yeah?” (he whispered back)

Ok he said something at this point and It sounded like “I’m pregnant” but why he would say that I have no idea so he most likely said something else

Jenny asked for a photo so I took one of her then got one and he like squeezed me so it felt really good (that sounds weird doesn’t it?)

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

We thanked him and Jenny said have a safe flight

Oh gosh they were both so nice and so tall! I had no idea Alex was so tall, I always thought he would be shorter. I wish we could have gotten a photo with Rian and the rest of This Providence but they were sitting on the other side and I didn’t want to go near Dan and have another awkward moment so we left.

We walked back up and we decided that I kind of failed at talking to them today so I have to learn how to talk to band guys (but I can’t even talk to normal people!). Anyone want to teach me? I have until March to learn. I also need to learn how to look into people’s eyes when I talk to them, god my social skills are so bad! Upstairs we saw a couple of other band guys, I wanted a photo with one of them because I liked him from the night before but I didn’t know what his name was and I didn’t want to bother him so we left.

After a bit of more fangirling we got picked up by Jenny’s dad and I then got dropped off at Essendon station where I took the train home.

I was dreading going home because of my parents but we had people over so they couldn’t yell at me (score!). Once they left though, my parents called me to the room and I got lectured a little but it wasn’t too bad. My dad tried making a joke at the end “We were panicking while you were watching Panic” I laughed because it was so bad.

All in all it was a bloody fantastic day, one of the best ones ever!

Although I didn't make the most of it, I can't believe I got to meet Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith. Two people I've adored for so long and are part of a band that mean so much to me.

Thank you Jenny for taking me to the airport!

P.S If anyone is good at editing photos do tell me, I want the airport photos to have blurred backgrounds so you can't tell it's an airport
