Bollywood Queen

While doing my daily imdb browsing I came across a film called ‘Bollywood Queen’ so I decided to watch. I didn’t manage to find a download link or even a link to watch it online, then I saw that someone had put the movie on youtube but only the scenes James McAvoy was in so I watched it.

This is what I got from the story by only watching McAvoy’s scenes

Edit: I tried to make this into a short summary but I basically say almost everything I saw

Jay (Mcavoy) saves an Indian girl from a falling pole, the two lock eyes and fall in love

(Yes they are floating)

He does a bit of stalking and finds out where she works, the two flirt and she gives him her phone number

Gina (the girl) sings a horrible song in Hindi and thinks about Jay while doing so

The two meet and walk through London but Gina has to leave

Jay gets told off by his racist brother for giving Gina’s phone back

Jay and Gina go on their first date (to watch an Indian movie (WHYYYY))

While making out , The people on the screen jump out and start dancing in the theatre

It’s just Jay’s imagination

Random people start dancing in the streets while Jay sings about a Bollywood show

Gina joins in too (but in Hindi), Jay joins in too

(her face haha)

Oh no Gina sees her brothers so she leaves poor Jay alone

(something must have happened then but since it didn’t involve McAvoy I have no idea)

The two spend time in the city (this scene is actually pretty cute)

Then decide to go to a night club (James McAvoy’s dancing haha)

(Yes he’s wearing a Hawaiian shirt)

But oh no Gina’s brothers are there and take Gina away

Jay thinks about Gina

And imagines her singing Dedicated to the one I love

This is his reaction

I got a bit lost at this point, Jay his brother and some other guy break into a factory which ends up being Gina’s family business, Jay wants out and leaves. Don’t really get it. Just know that Gina’s brothers are doing something dodgy.

Something must have happened because Jay’s brother is in hospital with a stab wound in his arm. Jay’s dad turns up, Jay gets annoyed and leaves

Picks up Gina and they both drive off to the country side

Gina imagines singing a (hilarious) song

(yes he is dressed like a cowboy holding a sitar)

They get a room in a cottage

Jay thinks he’s going to get lucky

Gina rejects him and makes him sleep on the floor

They go on a picnic and another song

(The classic song where the girl wears a sari that's blowing around in the wind)

Gina wants to go back; first Jay takes her to his house.

Father and brother approve of her

They go to Gina’s cousins wedding and Gina sings

Jay after she’s done (he’s so precious)

Jay meets Gina’s parents; the dad thanks him for bringing her back but tells him to leave

Gina gets annoyed and leaves with Jay, dad doesn’t stop her.

They both decide to go to France

So this movie was unbelievably awful and made me cringe several times but it also made me laugh quite a lot (James McAvoy must have been really desperate for money).Although it was a bad movie I still found it entertaining and I really want to watch the full movie. I found a few copies to buy online, wish I had a credit card and money at times like this, oh well one day. If you ever feel like watching a really bad movie which will make you laugh I recommend Bollywood Queen.
